Ms. Broyles is a longtime Alaskan, having attended college here ,as a young woman and trekked alone with her dogs in the Alaskan wilderness; hiking, fly fishing, bird watching, in some very remote areas encountering bears, and like many Alaskans has some tall tales to share along with reciting Robert Service poems by the campfire.
